Barry Benjamin Wilder, 66, of Greenville, SC passed away surrounded by family on April 24, 2023, after battling cancer. Barry marched to the beat of his own drum and left behind many family traditions.

Barry was born on January 19, 1957, to the late Charles and Avienell Wilder. He graduated from Parker High School in 1975 where he earned his “PHD” and then went on to work as a diesel mechanic. He was involved in the lives of his family daily and every memory includes him. He believed quality time was the best gift one could give, and the gift best remembered. Everyone that knew Barry has a story to share. He is currently on a boat in heaven, listening to John Prine and reeling in all the fish.

Grandchildren Emmylou Wilder, Reed and Reese Chastain, Lyndi Jarrio, and four legged grandchildren- Hank and Penny. He is survived by all his siblings, Daryl Wilder (Georgann) Terry Wilder (Kathy) Teresa Norris, Dwayne Wilder, and Keith Wilder (Teresa) Along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
