Mr. Barnett “Barney” Nimmons Allgood

Mr. Barnett “Barney” Nimmons Allgood 74, of Seneca, SC passed away Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 in Greenville, SC. He was born in Seneca on Tuesday, January 11, 1944 to his parents; the late William Elliott and Salena Holleman Allgood.
Barney will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years; Nancy G. Allgood, His brother; William (Donna) Allgood, several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Mr. Allgood served the State of South Carolina for over 35 years working and caring for the South Carolina Highway Department. First as a construction and development engineer then as the Upstate Vehicles Inspection Supervisor. After his retirement he had the opportunity to travel the United States as a tour bus driver. Always wanting to stay busy he enjoyed his time as the “Gate Keeper” to Cross Creek Plantation. An avid traveler, who with over 75 cruises all over the world. He enjoyed gardening, particularly tomatoes, mostly so he could give them away to his friends.
Besides his parents, Barney was predeceased by his brother Francis Allgood.
