Barbara Ann Ott

Barbara Ann Ott passed away on September 22nd, 2021 in Newberry SC. Born on November 30th, 1947 in Marion, SC, she was the daughter of the late Allen Hayden Sparkman and Ella Francis Lorraine Sparkman.

Barbara is survived by her three siblings John R. Sparkman, Jack A. Sparkman, and Susan D. Sparkman; three children Mark A. McEntire, Angelina L. McEntire, and Timothy J. McEntire; five grandchildren Jesse A. McEntire, Alicia T. Hudgins, Ashley N. Crane, Joseph J. Brock, and Jessica M. Brock; and eight great-grandchildren Emilee E. Steele, Jocelyn G. Steele, Mason L. Steele, Nyla E. Hudgins, Abigail Crane, Alyssa Crane, Charlotte Crane, and Isabella Brock.

Barbara was an avid reader, a big fan of watching old westerns on television, and loved to ride motorcycles with her late husband, Carredyne Ott Jr. She also enjoyed traveling and cooking delicious meals for her family.

She was blessed to have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
