Auther Neil Roach
August 19, 1948 — February 18, 2023
Auther Neil Roach, 74, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 18, 2023, surrounded by family. Neil is survived by his wife of 57 years, Annette W. Roach, daughters, Kelley (Richard) Giambrone and Allison (Brian) Cowan, sister Evonne (Monta)Smith and brother William (Deborah) Roach and granddaughter Michelle Annette Giambrone-Roach, to whom he will always be “My Poppy”.
He was a 2nd generation trucker and hauled freight for 37 years. He liked to say “If you’ve got it, a truck hauled it.”
He was preceded In death by his parents, Johnnie Roach, Sr. and Pearl Kelley Roach.
At this time a service isn’t scheduled, but memorials and/or donations may be made to Truckers Final Mile at www.truckersfinalmile.org in his memory.
The family wishes to thank Interim Home Health and Hospice as well as Mrs. Bettie Gwinn for all the love, care, and attention during his illness.
