Austin Peter Grant

Austin Peter Grant, 25, of Taylors, passed away, Friday, May 13, 2016 in Taylors. Born on November 18, 1990 in McHenry, Illinois he lived in Taylors for most of his life. He worked as a supervisor in the architectural precasting industry. Austin was a very silly guy who always had everyone laughing. He was a devoted father, husband and friend to so many. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and will be remembered for his work ethic and his passionate love for his family.

Those who will most cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nicole Marie Grant of Taylors; the apple of his eye, his beautiful daughter, Maddilyn Jean Grant of Taylors; his mother, Barbara Grant Thompson and husband, Darrell of Taylors; his father, Bryan Nielsen and wife, Susan of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; his siblings and step siblings, Sully, Delaney, Brittany, Brianna, Samantha, Payton Thompson and family, Brooklyn Thompson and family, Trent, Easton, and Hunter Thompson; his sister in law, Kimberlee Clark and husband Philip; his step father, Tom Terpenning of Taylors; his paternal grandmother, Dee Nielsen; his father in law, David Anderson and wife, Cindy of Highland, Illinois; his mother in law, Lisa Desimone of Greenville; his nieces and nephews, Elijah, Amiyah, Olivia, Skylinn, Luke. Austin is also survived by numerous members of his extended family and friends.

A memorial service to honor his life will be at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Springwell Church, 4369 Wade Hamptom Blvd, Taylors.
