Arvel Richard Reeves

Arvel Richard “Dick” Reeves, Jr., 71, passed away September 14, 2015. Born in Pickens, SC, Dick was the son of the late Arvel and Bernice Brown Reeves. He was a graduate of Pickens High School and Greenville Technical College. He retired from Bernina Sewing Center.

Surviving are his former wife Mary M. Reeves of Powdersville; daughter Anna Reeves Steele (John) of Easley; sister Carol Jo Grant (Don) of Pickens; grandchildren Emerson, Jack and Miller Steele of Easley; niece and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dick was predeceased by a son, Arvel Richard “Trey” Reeves, III.

The family will have an informal receiving of friends Sun. Sep. 20 2-4pm at Looper's Barn, 101 Laurenwood Dr., Pickens, SC 29671.
