Arline Johnsen

Arline Johnsen, 85, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021. Arline was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Rolf; and her first-born son, Jeff. She is survived by her son, Gary Johnsen (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Ryan Johnsen; and her brothers, Thomas (Barbara) Duff, and Richard (Barbara) Duff. The family finds great comfort in knowing that Arline is in heaven with Rolf and Jeff - what a joyous reunion!
Nana loved to cook, especially for her grandchildren. She was the sweetest and most kind person, but also was fiercely protective of her sons and grandchildren. In her later years, her universe centered on her grandchildren. A perfect day for her was sitting in the stands, ever so stylishly dressed, watching one of her grandchildren's many sporting events and cheering on their friends.
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at McCall Hospice House of Greenville for their kindness and gentle care of Nana.
