Aretha Henderson

Aretha Jane (Pipher) Henderson of Easley, SC, 99, went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 4, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband Billy Henderson, her son Larry Henderson, her parents Peter and Olive Pipher, and her brothers Marshall, Gerald, Arnold, and Ronald Pipher. She is survived by her children Christine (Clinton) Matthews, Lori (Michael) Gould, and Eric (Evelyn) Henderson, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, her sister Muriel Wrobel and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville,SC. She was born in Johnson City, NY and lived most of her life there before moving to Greenville, SC in 1999. She was married to Billy for 67 years. She retired from IBM. She loved spending time with family, baking, and she was an avid reader. 

A memorial service will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11:00am at Truth Missionary Baptist Church Greenville, SC.
