Ann Golden

Ann Walls Golden, 69, of Piedmont, widow of Ken J. Golden, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late H.C. and Elizabeth Walls.
Prior to her retirement, she worked in the textile industry.  She enjoyed travel, cruises, and her Red Hatter Club.
She is survived by her son, Elvis Kenneth Golden of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Tammy Renee Shirley (Eddie) of Pelzer; three grandchildren Kendra King, Katie Shirley, and Jamie Shirley, and a great-grandchild, Katerina King. In addition, she is survived by her five siblings; Charles Walls (Terri Myers); Janice Lowery (Harold); Pat Wydner; Leroy Walls (Judy); Teddy Walls (Janice). Survivor also includes a very special friend, Danny Kelly.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11am at Living Sanctuary Church, 201 Piedmont Road, Piedmont. Visitation to follow. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, local animal shelter, or the church of one’s choice.
