Andrew Alexander Snyder left this world too soon on June 11, 2024, at the age of 29.
Born on November 7, 1994, in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, he brought light and laughter into the lives of all who knew him. His passing in Hendersonville, North Carolina, has left a void that can never be filled.
Andrew's life was one marked by dedication, both to his family and to his career. He was a loving husband to his wife, Alexis Snyder, with whom he shared two beautiful years of marriage. His warmth and guidance will be profoundly missed by his mother, Lucie Snyder, and his brother, Preston Snyder. His grandmother, Jean Dority, will forever cherish the memories they made together, and though he now joins his late grandfather, Julian Dority, Andrew's legacy will continue to live on through his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A proud graduate of Mauldin High School in 2013, Andrew's ambition and entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-own Restoration 1 in Asheville, which he opened in 2019. His business acumen and tireless work ethic were recognized when he expanded with Restoration 1 of Johnson City in 2022. His commitment to excellence was evident as he was honored to be part of the Restoration 1 Franchise Million Dollar Club Winner for three consecutive years, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Andrew's interests and hobbies painted the picture of a man with a zest for life and a penchant for joy. He was an avid shoe collector (sneakerhead shoes) On the slopes, he was a skilled snowboarder, embracing the thrill and freedom that came with the sport. His love for soccer was unrivaled, and he was a dedicated fan of Manchester United, a team he followed with fervor and excitement. A huge Clemson Tigers fan, Andrew's spirit and enthusiasm were infectious, especially on game days.
Perhaps one of Andrew's most endearing qualities was his incredible sense of humor. With a quick wit he had a natural ability to light up a room and bring joy to others. Many would say he missed his calling as a comedian, but those who knew him best understood that it was his everyday interactions that showcased his humor best.
Andrew will be remembered as a man who was loving, funny, and generous. His ability to connect with people, to bring laughter into any situation, and to give of himself selflessly defined the essence of who he was. His presence enriched the lives of those around him, and his absence will be deeply felt.
As we say goodbye to Andrew Alexander Snyder, we hold tight to the cherished memories and the laughter he gifted us. His spirit, a beacon of love and humor, will continue to inspire and guide us. He may have departed from this world, but his legacy of kindness, laughter, and generosity will endure forever in our hearts.
