Andrew "Drew" Mackenzie Reed

Andrew "Drew" Mackenzie Reed (33) passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 8, 2022 in Greenville, SC, where he had resided for the past 3 years.
Drew was born on June 23, 1989 in Blacksburg Virginia to Andy Lee and Lisa Michelle Mann Reed. He grew up in Rich Creek Virginia and the family later moved to Pearisburg. Drew was a lively energetic young man with the most beautiful brown eyes anyone has seen. He was "the baby" of the Family. Drew attended Narrows Elementary/ Middle School , where he was active in Football, Basketball and Baseball. He sure knew how to make those 3 pointer shots at an early age. He graduated Narrows High School in 2007, while in High School he excelled on the Football Field as a Narrows Greenwave where he was crowned Homecoming King his senior year 2006-2007. Drew's hobbies were skateboarding, writing stories and collecting music and movies. He was an devout fan of the NY Giants Football team. Drew loved adventure and at times was somewhat of a daredevil. His family cherish many wonderful memories of his life and loving spirit. He never met a stranger and was the most generous, he would give the clothes off his back if someone needed them.
Andrew was born into a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his "Mamaw" Doris Wright, Grandfathers Bramwell Reed and Otie Wright along with Great Grandmother, Madge Mann. In addition to his parents he is survived by two loving siblings; sister, Tashina Tickle (husband Jason) and brother, Zachary "Zack" Reed. The apple of his eye was his neices, Jaydin, Braylin and Caylin Tickle. Grandparents, William "Bubby" Mann, Peggy Mann and Barbara Reed. Aunts and Uncles; Mark and Vanessa Godfrey, Donald and Crystal Reed, Marvin and Brenda Wright and Tammy Coulter. Childhood " best cousins", Megan Godfrey Stephens and Ian Godfrey. Cousins, Alice Reed, Wesley Wright, Madison Wright, Cameron Coulter and Zekiah Coulter. Cousins "in love"; Josh, Finley, Draper and Hollyn Stephens and Jessica Godfrey and the sweetest little Foster baby. Special Friends Jacob, Cassie and Jessie Harless and their parents Joe and Cheryl. Along with a Host of Great Aunts, Uncles extended Cousins and Friends that feel like family.
