Amy Ruth Brown passed away peacefully July 7, 2019 at the Hospice House of Laurens.
Amy was born on April 25, 1960 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of the late Carl and Glenna Herman. She is the youngest of 7 siblings.
Amy was a long time resident of Waterloo, SC where she graduated the University of LIFE with her Masters in Domestic Engineering.
Amy leaves behind her 3 children: Joshua Hopkins, Jodie Hopkins-Harley and Cody Brown; three grandchildren, Irie, Darby and Gage Hopkins; three sisters Rebecca Herman and Carla Putnam-Herman and Jenny Edwards; two brothers David Herman and Tim Herman. Amy leaves her husband of 22 years Mike Hammer. Amy was predeceased by her brother Mark Herman of Houston, Texas.
A celebration of life will be held privately at her sibling’s residence.
