Amy LeAnna Boozer, 50, unexpectedly passed from this earthly life to her heavenly home on December 13, 2024, at her home in Williamston, South Carolina. She was a graduate of Wren High School, Piedmont, South Carolina.
Born in Langdale, Alabama on June 27, 1974, she was the daughter of Gary and Sandra Kay (Lashley) Boozer of Easley, South Carolina, formerly of Lanett, Alabama.
Amy is survived by her parents and aunts and uncles Mike (Beverly) Lashley, Cecilia Lashley, Charles Pigg, Greg (Sharon) Boozer, Stephanie Norred, and Jennifer (Marty) Henry; and cousins Brian Boozer, Ashley Norred, Caitlin Barton, Eli Henry, Nathan Pigg, Jackie Pigg, Byron Pigg, Alan Pigg, Marc Lashley, Lynn Lashley, Linde Lashley, Lauren Lashley, Jason Morrow and Christy Ridley, as well as other extended family; and her furbabies, Bama and Saban, who she dearly loved.
Amy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Matthew Manan and Willie Mae Lashley, Louise and Doyle Boozer, aunt Patsy Pigg, uncles Kenneth Lashley and Ferrell Lashley, and cousin Jessica Boozer Breedlove.
Amy was a force to be reckoned with. She never met a stranger and would become your best friend at hello. She never suffered with indecision, always being able to tell you exactly what she wanted, and when she wanted it, which usually was immediately. She was quick witted, quick to smile and laugh, and call you darlin'. She had a special spark that was bright and electric. She loved Alabama Crimson Tide. She didn't have an easy life. She had many health issues, heartbreaks, tragedies, struggles, and demons to constantly battle. She's now at peace, no more scars, no more sickness, no more pain, and forever safe in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
The family would like to thank those who gave Amy such great medical care especially Dr. Julia Payne and staff of Palmetto Pulmonary & Critical Care and Bon Secours Hospital Downtown, Greenville, SC.
A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date in Alabama. She loved Christmas and the family hopes that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and asks on Christmas Day if you would take a minute and think of her and ring a bell in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christian Service Center, P.O. Box 227, Lanett, AL 36863, indicating on memo line "In memory of Amy Boozer."
Goodbye sweet girl and ROLL TIDE!
