Amanda Lynn Leroux

February 23, 1994 — December 31, 2024

Greenville, SC

Amanda Lynn Leroux, known affectionately by her chosen name Zelena Ophelia Moon, was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Born on February 23, 1994, in Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, she embarked on a journey that would touch countless lives with her warmth, creativity, and boundless spirit. Zelena's earthly journey came to an unexpected close on December 31, 2024, in Greenville, SC, due to an accident, but her legacy endures, a testament to a life lived with passion and purpose.

Zelena was a true artist at heart, her soul resonating with the rhythms of music and the beauty of the natural world. She found solace in the woods, a place where her spirit could dance freely among the trees. Her hands crafted stunning pieces of painted art on canvas and beautiful jewelry, each a reflection of her deep connection to the earth and her love for its treasures, particularly the crystals she so cherished. In the kitchen, her creativity flourished yet again, as she conjured up dishes that were not only nourishing to the body but also to the soul.

Her spiritual journey was as vibrant and colorful as she was, guiding her through life with a sense of wonder and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of all things. Zelena's love knew no bounds; it was a force that could be felt in her presence and seen in the eyes of her beloved children, Lillian Payne-Leroux, Cooper Lee Albright, and Alex Michael Anderson who will carry forward her light.

Zelena's family was the canvas upon which she painted her love. her mother, Andrea Lynn Leroux (Mommy), and father, Patrick Leo Leroux (Daddy), her siblings, Chanel Ann Leroux (Sissy), her paternal grandmother Pauline Leroux, her aunts and uncles, Sandy Larock, Greg Larock, Nancy McGee, Bob McGee, and Ann Doherty all felt the warmth of her affection and the strength of her spirit.

To describe Zelena as loving, spirited, and creative only scratches the surface of the profound impact she had on those around her. She was a guiding star, a source of inspiration and courage, showing us that life is a canvas and we are the artists. Her story encourages us to embrace our passions, to love deeply, and to find magic in the mundane.

As we celebrate Zelena's life, let us carry her spirit within us, allowing it to illuminate our paths and inspire us to live with the same authenticity and joy that she embodied. Zelena Ophelia Moon, a cherished soul, may have departed from our sight, but she remains forever etched in our hearts. Her life was a masterpiece, and her memory is a treasure that will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all she touched.
