Alvenia McCarson Eskew

Alvenia McCarson Eskew, 85, of Greenville, SC widow of Jack Eskew, Sr. passed away on February 22, 2023. Born in Greenville, SC she was the daughter of Ira McCarson and Marjorie McCarson.
Survivors include her children: Debra “Debbie” Nichols, Pam (Jamie) Redding, Jay Eskew, Jack (Rhonda) Eskew, Jr., and Jeff Eskew. Other survivors include her grandchildren; Amie Moore, Stephen Nichols, Kayla Eskew, Dustin Eskew, Chasity Drummond, Alisha Bradley, and Hunter Redding, ten great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and her brother, Harry McCarson and a special sister-in-law, Peggy McCarson.
Alvenia was predeceased by her son, Joseph Eskew, a grandson, Brian Nichols, her two brothers; Donald McCarson, and Douglas McCarson, three great-grandchildren; Duke, Savannah, and Kiersten Moore.
A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, February 27, 2023 in the Chapel of Cremation Society of SC – Westville Funerals. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
