Alma June Stephens Kelley

Alma June Stephens Kelly, 86, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Kelly, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023. She was the epitome of resilience and a woman who lived life with a fiery spirt and loving heart.
Born in Pickens County, she was the oldest daughter of the late Charley Stephens and Lorene Whittle Stephens. Alma was one of nine siblings. She was predeceased by brothers Frank, Dee, Ray, Howard, Tommy and Larry and sister, Charlene. She is survived by a younger sister Margaret.
Alma was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was a grand tapestry of love and commitment. Her life was a testament to the power of family and the joy of shared experiences.
Surviving are daughters, Pamela Kelly and Cheryl Kelley Lowe and son, Keith Kelly. She was predeceased by a beloved son, Steve Kelly and son-in-law, Terry Lowe. She is survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a matriarch in the truest sense, her love and wisdom extending across generations.
In her passing, Alma leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and determination. She was a woman who lived life on her own terms and who loved fiercely. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her, her wisdom echoing in their hearts, and her memory a constant reminder of a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
