Alice Harper Woodring

Alice Harper New Woodring, born Sept. 21,1928, daughter of Bessie Allen Harper New and Francis Hugh McKee New, died April 20,2016. Widow of J. Carlton Woodring they made their home in Pickens County for the past 20 years. Alice, employed with the U.S. Postal Service
in Hilton Head, S.C. and Greenville, retired in 1988. Surviving siblings are: Ellen N. Hiller, Sarah N. Gray, Francis H.M. New, Weston K. New and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Pickens Co. Humane Society, 500 Five Forks Rd., Liberty, S.C., 29657. Private services planned.
