Alice Amelia Ginn, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at the age of 79 in Landrum, South Carolina. Born on January 25, 1946, in Clinton, South Carolina, Alice had a passion for puzzles and movies, and a career that showcased her remarkable talents.
Alice's early years in Clinton were filled with the love and support of her parents, Ben and Annie Sumner, both of whom predeceased her. She grew up alongside her siblings Dewey, Iris, Archie, Betty, and Ira, who passed away before her.
She found her lifelong partner in Vernon Ginn, and her sons Gerry Cieluch (and his wife, Ginger), Glen Cieluch (and his wife, Ivy), and the late Roman Cieluch III. Alice's role as a grandmother to Garrett, Owen, Hayley, Jeremy, and Gemma was one of her greatest joys.
Professionally, Alice was the epitome of efficiency and skill, serving as the secretary to the vice president at PYA Monarch. Her colleagues respected her for her sharp mind and her ability to solve complex problems with grace and ease. Her involvement in the company went beyond her job description, as she was an active participant in various associations, contributing her time and expertise to further collective goals.
