Virginia C. Rollins

Virginia C. Rollins, age 86 and called Catherine by her friends, passed away in hospice care at her home after repeated respiratory illnesses. She was the daughter of Arthur Wayland Holland and Alice Gladys Stout.
She had a servant's heart and was an active member of Grove Road Baptist Church for over 50 years and continued to teach Sunday School in the last year of her life. She kept a saying on her kitchen cabinet that she lived by: " Do all the good you can in all the ways you can for all the people you can while you can." She truly lived this.
Surviving are: a son, John Stewart (Anita) of Archdale, NC and a daughter, Nancy Rollins of Smithfield, NC (Dan). She is also survived by grandchildren: Richard Stewart (Amy), Tara Villano (Joey), Jason Stewart (Tabitha), Kim Hughes (Myron), Whitney Moore (Allen), Clary Pollack (Fred) and Strother Tedford. And great grandchildren: Tristan and Bella Villano; Trey, Seth, Ava, Micah, Kyler and Aryana Stewart; Dylan Hughes; Grayson and Remington Stewart, Chazden Saren; Abe Judson and Rhett Pollack; and Fisher Roda.
Funeral services will be held graveside at Graceland Cemetery at 11:00 on Tuesday, October 22nd. Pastor Danny Bridges will be presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Grove Road Baptist Church.
