Sarah Pauline Davis

July 8, 1935 — January 14, 2024

Sarah Pauline Davis, affectionately known as Pauline by her friends and family, passed away peacefully at her home in Piedmont, South Carolina, on January 14, 2024. Born on July 8, 1935, in Anderson, South Carolina, Pauline's life was marked by her loving nature and wise counsel, traits that endeared her to all who knew her.

Pauline spent her professional life as a dedicated legal secretary before answering a higher calling to serve as the pastor's secretary at Trinity Church International in Florida. Her commitment to her faith and community was unwavering, and after 19 years of devoted service, she retired, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and professionalism. Upon returning to her roots in South Carolina, she continued her service at High Praises Church and the Tremont Church of God, where her wisdom and loving nature were a beacon of light for the congregations she served.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ray Davis, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. Together they raised a family that includes their sons, Barry and Michael Davis, and daughter, Lynn Brooks, who will carry forward her legacy of love and compassion. Pauline also will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Naomi, Philip, Megan, Josh, Rachael, Elisa, Michael Ray Jr, and Miles. Great grandchildren, Shaina, Sophie and Bradley. Pauline's sister, Mildred Lollis, will remember her not just as a sibling, but as a lifelong friend whose guidance and support were invaluable.

Pauline's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of faith. Her warm presence and sage advice will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched with her gentle demeanor and generous heart.

As we bid farewell to Pauline, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey filled with purpose, and a soul that enriched the world simply by being a part of it. Her memory will be cherished and honored by all who loved her, and her influence will continue to be felt for generations to come.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Sarah Pauline Davis was a guiding light in the lives of many, and though she has set on this earthly realm, her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her. Rest in peace, dear Pauline.
