Kimberly Lewis

Kimberly Lewis, beloved mother, daughter, niece, and friend, passed away on June 24, 2023. She is survived by her children, Damian Blakley, Jaravias Mayes, Keon Blakely, Aleah Mayes; her Mother Dorothy Jean Lewis; siblings, Keeber Lewis and Fred Lewis; 15 grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, and friends, and her close friend, Andrea Butler.

Kimberly lived her life to the fullest and brought out the best in everyone around her. No matter what the situation was, you could count on her to comfort, protect, or help with love and compassion. She was selfless, kind, and giving - she would truly give the shirt off her back to anyone in need, no questions asked. Kimberly loved to cook, her meals brought everyone together to share love, laughter, and some delicious food. She was a nurturing mother, who was proud of all of her children, and she cherished every moment with her grandchildren.

Kimberly loved music - she spent many happy hours listening to Bill Withers, Johnnie Gill, Aleeyah, and her all-time favorite, Prince. If music was playing, you can bet that Kimberly was dancing. Her joy spread throughout the room, and her smile was contagious. Kimberly could make the best of any circumstance, and help those around her to see the bright side of things - even in the most difficult of times.
