Kenneth Mitchell Register

Kenneth Mitchell Register, 67, of Greenwood, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 26, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Dykes Register Sr. and Frances Virginia Register; and his brothers, Joseph Register, Jack Register, David Register, and Jimmie Register. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara Register; his daughter, Betty Frances Hartzog (Wyley), step-daughter Nichole Pruiksma (Steven); step-son Steven Leady (Mindy); his brothers Timothy Register, Tommy Register, Christopher Register, and Walter Register Jr.; his sister, Nancy Lynn Tingle; 7 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was a quiet, and reserved man – a man of few words. When Kenneth did speak, it came from the heart. He was known for his special sense of humor and his kindness.

Kenneth was an accomplished mechanic by trade, and when he wasn’t on the clock, he was still tinkering. He loved to build race cars, and fix anything that needed mending. He was an outdoorsman who loved the peaceful tranquility of a day fishing on the lake. Kenneth loved country westerns, and cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.

A memorial service to honor a life well-lived will be held at a later date with family and friends in Georgia.
