Keith Knight was born November 19th, 1934 in Kingston Jamaica to Maude Brown and Minion Knight.
He was a man of great dignity and unbending principles. He cared for others and was protective to not just his family but even strangers in need.
He was a blunt straightforward man that spoke his mind and had a big healthy love for music.
Keith worked as a welder, a career that he loved. He resided in London in his younger years. By this time he had two children Delia and Rose. He eventually made his way to NYC in 1973 where
He resided in Harlem New York. Where he enjoyed walks to the market and staying fit at the neighborhood gym. He soon met and Married the love of his life Callie Meano. They were married for 49 beautiful years full of love and happiness.
In his senior years, he started spending time at his local library. This is where publish short books for them and took photos of the city he came to love and adore.
As he aged gracefully he started to just enjoy the simplicity of life. Enjoying Jamaican cuisine and conversations with his close friends and family.
Towards the end, he relocated to South Carolina where he later passed on September 30th, 2022. Leaving behind his two daughters Rose and Delia, five grandchildren Adelaide, Dimitri, Oliver, Virginia and Vanessa as well as 10 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Keith Knight passed on peacefully in the arms of his son-in-law Burnette who helped care for and provide for him towards the end.
