James Marcus Lamb

James Marcus Lamb, 35, of Greer, SC, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 18, 2021. Born in Greenville, SC to James Michael Lamb and Donna Good, on May 23, 1986. Marcus was survived by his parents; children: Jenna, Blake, and Marcus; sisters: Brooke and Amber; brother: Zachary; step-mother: Laura Lamb; grandmother: Jean Lamb; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Roy Lamb and grandmother Amanda James. Marcus was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Marcus was unendingly proud of Jenna, Blake, and Marcus and always tried his best to support them. He was also passionate about Jesus and could often be found at church regularly anyone who knew James knew that he was the most loving father a family could ask for. Marcus worked as a landscaper and was involved with The Upstate Fatherhood Coalition. We mourn the loss of our son and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty he brought to this world. His favorite quote is "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". A visitation will be held in the honor of Marcus on Monday. September 27, 2021, 12:30pm-2:30pm at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals.
