Charles Daniel "Dan" Veach

Charles Daniel “Dan” Veach, 77, passed away suddenly on July 10, 2020, at his home in Westminster, South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Betty Veach.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Dana Veach Poleman and her husband, George, of Shreveport, LA; son, Jason Veach of Houston, TX; a granddaughter, Jordan Luker and her husband, Chris, of Shreveport, LA; one great granddaughter, Oaklynn Luker; brother, Stuart Veach and wife, Donna, of Elloree, SC; sisters, Nancy Solomon and her husband, Jimmy, of Shreveport, and Laura Veach and husband, George Harrelson of Winston-Salem, NC; one nephew, Drew Veach of Winston-Salem, NC; one niece, Alana Harrelson of Winston-Salem, NC; friends, Pat Jones of Bossier City, and Mary Yother of Easley, SC.
Dan was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina until joining the Air Force. After an honorable discharge, Dan worked for Xerox in Shreveport for 26 years before retiring. He also loved cars and sports car activities including the Shreveport-Bossier Corvair Club, Sports Car Club of America, and International Motor Sports Association. After retiring, Dan had a love for classic cars – buying, rebuilding, selling, and showing those cars. He enjoyed organizing the Cruizin’ on Main in Seneca, SC; and loved going to Rod Runs, Cruisin’ the Coast, and Car Shows.
The family would like to thank Dan’s friend, Tom Head and wife, Nancy, for their care; and the Oconee Sheriff’s Department for their incredible assistance after his death; and the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals.
