Annie Ruth Chavis Alexander, 83, of Inman, SC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Surviving to carry on her memory are her children; Charles Alexander (Cathy), daughter; Larinda Brownlee (Keith), Kenneth Alexander (Leslie), eight grandchildren, Brent Brownlee (Autumn), Shauna Alexander Robinson (Chris), Ashley Alexander Dockins (Gabe), Brittany Alexander Malone (Andrew), Kaleb Alexander (Amelie), Mark Brownlee (Ashley), Connor Alexander, Seth Alexander. Fourteen great-grandchildren, brothers; Jimmy Chavis, Johnny Chavis (Lynn), sisters; Queenie Martindale, Dorothy Byrd, Elva Wilkins, Martha Rosman (Lewie), Jeanette Foster.
Annie Ruth is predeceased by her late husband of 60 years, Buddy Dean Alexander, their anniversary was November 5th, parents; Alex Roland Chavis, Lillian Goins Chavis and 11 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 2:15 pm - 2:50 pm in the sanctuary of Praise Cathedral, 339 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, SC 29650. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
